The Light Keeper’s Ball by Colleen Coble

I have become a fan!  I cannot wait to get my hands on Ms. Coble’s other novels!!  A wonderfully written period (1910) story (mystery!).

Olivia Stewart is living a charmed life in New York when she finds out her sister Eleanor has died under mysterious circumstances. Believing her death was not an accident Olivia travels to Mercy Falls California to investigate for herself as she suspects her sister’s fiancé Harrison Bennett had something to do with it. On her way, she is pushed off a ship bough and nearly drowns. Because of this she thinks someone is trying to kill her, too. When she is rescued she uses her formal name of Lady Devonworth so as not to be recognized. As things start to unfold and various people come into question (dead and alive), Olivia soon falls in love with Harrison.

This was such a great book ~ couldn’t put it down and enjoyed trying to figure out who did it!  Will definitely share with others and recommend!
